About Me

Hello,

I’m Ashley Manning, a 27 year old writer. I write for a young adult audience, but aim for adults to enjoy my book as well. I write fantasy and horror stories.

I read a lot. Anything that I can get my hands on. Children and Victorian books are my favorite, especially with a Gothic twist. I appreciate any suggestions you might have.

I also review films, with a promise to put up one review a day.

The aim is to make at least one update post a week, mostly on a Tuesday. These will be about anything, from book reviews, my own writing and things that I’ve been thinking about. I also aim to publish one short story a month.

If you have a book that you would like to be reviewed then send me an email via the contact me page. I would be happy to do it, as long as I have the time.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Ashley.

I would really suggest The Mortal Instruments and the House of Night series. House of Night is about vampires and has more of a creepy storyline, Mortal Instruments writes about demons, shadow hunters, and etc.

Ooh…I love books that take place in the 19th century as well. I write young adult, and my writing constantly latches on to that century.
