A little update

It’s been a good few weeks since my last post, not much has really happened (apart from one weekend, but I’ll get to that later). I’ve accepted that uni is over and feel ready to move on. Writing is at a minimal at the moment, but that will all change soon. I have big plans to keep things going. I have a piece that should be ready to post on here next week and after that I’ll be finishing the second part of The Fragmented Sequence. I’m about 5000 words away from the end of that one.

I wasn’t going to carry on with The Fragmented Sequence, for a while, but I’ve had a few people ask me for an update on the sequel and it’s made me reorganise my priorities. The Man Out of Place also hasn’t been forgotten. It is finished and just waiting to be edited. It links into The Fragmented Sequence but it stands alone completely. My idea is to have a whole range of stories that build upon the infinite amount of universes and worlds that began in To The Other. None of them are really connected, but characters, places and events may pop up in several books/stories. One of the things I’m working on at the moment isn’t involved in this at all, so I’m not bending things to match this idea. If it fits, it fits.

I went to see Dawn of the Planet of the Apes this week. I’ve been waiting for this film the second the credits went up at the end of Rise. I love all of the Apes films and this is no exception. Brilliant, and I can’t wait for the next one. Probably going to be a 2 year wait on that one.

A couple of weeks back I went to London for the London Film and Comic Con. It’s my first time going to a convention where it’s not solely comics. Seeing people I recognised from movies and tv was really cool. I got a poster of Empire Strikes back signed by a few of the cast and am currently waiting for a frame to arrive to hang it up. I also met a personal hero, George A Romero. Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead are 3 of my favourite films of all time and it was an honour to meet the director. It was a great weekend and I can’t wait to go again. Hoping to go to the winter one.

There will be an update next week I promise.

Maybe I shouldn’t make that promise. 🙂

Thanks for Reading,
