Writing

It got to 10pm today and I hadn’t written anything. I’d been playing games and reading comics, but hadn’t written a word all day. I sat down, put on Hail to the King by Avenged Sevenfold and made myself write. In less than 45 minutes I wrote 1600 words. It all came out very easily. I stopped writing while knowing exactly what was going to happen next. It’s been quite a breakthrough today. I have uni between 9 – 11 tomorrow and plan to write afterwards. I’m not making any plans with when the book should be done by. It’s been over a month now since I’ve written one word towards it, and at the moment I just want to start writing again.

I decided yesterday that I wasn’t going to worry about writing for uni and don’t really see a reason to write the task for Fiction at the moment, or at least not to worry about it until Wednesday night. I’m going to focus on other things until then.

Now I’m going to go and read comics for a while before bed. There will be an update on Tuesday. I’m also going to upload a short story tomorrow. It’s what I did for Fiction last week, but didn’t read out. All feedback is appreciated, especially since it’s different to the usual things I write.

Thanks for reading,

Ashley.
